This Week at Meade Public Library

We have a busy week planned at Meade Public Library.  Take a look at all of the activities going on and plan to participate.  To find out more about our events, just click on the correct link above.

Holiday Harvest:  Our annual Holiday Harvest of Books begins on October 1.  This program allows our patrons to purchase books for the library.  These books can be donated in memory or honor of a loved one.  The books will be on display in the main room of the library and include a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction for all ages.  The Holiday Harvest will be taking place through mid-November.

October 2:  Story Time — The theme for the day is “Kittens.”  Join Janice Hawley, our guest storyteller,  as she leads the pre-schoolers with stories and activities.  Story Time begins at 10:00 a.m.

October 4Girl Power from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.  Join LaTonya for “Plugging Into Our Power.”

October 5:  TALK — The book to be discussed is Emma by Jane Austen.  The book discussion will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Community Room.  If you haven’t picked up your book yet, hurry into the library as soon as possible so you can participate.
