Last week was a great one as we started counting the books. It’s always fun to turn in the books and see each person work toward reaching their goal.
We enjoyed having the Dave Beachy family in to present their program on the “Fascinating Philippines.” Each person in the family had a part in presenting something special about the place they call home several months out of each year. Maggie Beachy brought in her very delicious spring rolls for everyone to enjoy.
This coming week, our focus is on the continent of Australia. We will be having a variety of activities centered around Australia and Oceania. The program on Wednesday morning is “Outback and Down Under” by Debbie Thomas. You won’t want to miss it. On Friday evening, we will have our “World Cuisine Sampler.” This will be a potluck of various foods from around the library. Please sign up at the library for the food you’d like to bring.
