This coming week promises to have lots of fun activities. The Emily Pinnick Room is always open with activities and crafts you can do at any time. Family Story Time will be on Monday morning. The Meade County Extension will give the Wednesday program focusing on healthy Mexican food.
Our Lunch & Learn will be on Thursday and will be on the Life Cycle of the Honeybee. We’ll also have a honey tasting party with 11 different varieties of honey (white gold, eucalyptus, wildflower, clover, alfalfa, orange blossom, dandelion, tupelo, buckwheat, blueberry and sage). We did this three years ago, and it was lots of fun. Come see if you can tell the difference in flavor. Younger children are welcome, but any child under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please click on the Summer Reading tab to find out the times of each of the programs and come join in the fun. We thank everyone for being patient with our lack of air conditioning. We hope the problem will be remedied this week and that our library will be nice and cool once again!
