Summer – 2012

Dream Big – Read!

This is the theme for the 2012 Summer Reading Program. A wide variety of activities and programs is planned for Pre-Schoolers thru Adults.

We will also post the week’s activities on the Home Page, so visit our website often.

Other than the planned events that follow, we have several on-going events:

Read-a-Movie – 5th Grade thru Adult
Read a book and watch the movie that is based on the same story.  We’ll provide the popcorn.  When you’re done reading the book & watching the movie, you will be eligible for a drawing.  We have a big list of book/movie combos, so there’s plenty to choose from for all ages and genres.  This is during the month of June only.

Family Scavenger Hunt – The first scavenger hunt list will be available on Wednesday, May 30.
First week items are due on June 7, and you can pick up the second week list on that day.
The Scavenger Hunt will run for five weeks.  In order to particpate the second week, you must complete the first week, and so on.

Crafts – No Sign Up Needed – Children under the age of 4 need supervision in the craft room.
May 30 thru July 11 – A variety of crafts and activities will always be availabe in “The Cave.”  (Come and Go)
