Some exciting programs will be presented throughout this time, and we encourage you to take a look by clicking on the “Explore Space” button above. In honor of National 4-H Week (October 2-8), the Town & Country 4-H Club is displaying some of their fair projects as well as showing and telling us some of the things they do throughout the year. This display will be up through the month of October. Don’t miss this opportunity to see what the young people of our community are doing.
The Holiday Harvest is a chance for people to purchase the pre-selected books in our display and help us stretch our budget just a little bit further. It is also a great opportunity for people to donate a book in honor or memory of a loved one.
There are books for all ages, interests and budgets to choose from.
The Holiday Harvest normally goes through Thanksgiving but will only be during October of this year. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a space exhibit during November and December. More details will be coming very soon on this exhibit.
Join us this coming Thursday, September 22, after school from 4:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. We will be celebrating the “100th Birthday of Roald Dahl.” Roald Dahl was born on September 13, 1916. He is the author of many childrens’ books including James and the Giant Peach, The BFG and Matilda, and he created the many fascinating characters we saw in the Willy Wonka movies.
We will be having games, crafts and refreshments and look forward to having a good time. We have many Roald Dahl books ready to be checked out too.
