We have started to get federal tax forms in. We currently have the following forms:
1040
1040A
1040EZ
Schedule A – Itemized Deductions
We have also received instruction books for the above-listed 1040 forms. We will continue to post the various federal forms that we receive. You can get any forms we do not have at: http://www.irs.gov.
We will not be receiving any Kansas forms. You can access these forms at: http://www.ksrevenue.org.
We can help you in locating and/or printing any of the Federal or Kansas forms; however, we cannot assist in filling out and completing them.
The Meade Alco Store will have a trailer on site for supplies to go to the aid the people of Joplin, Missouri, who are in great need of a great many items. The trailer will be on the parking lot on Friday evening, June 10, and Saturday morning, June 11.
If you wish to bring a donation to Alco, please package your items in secure boxes, seal and label them “For Joplin.” The staff will make sure they are placed in the trailer.
An EF5 Tornado hit Joplin on May 22, 2011, destroying a large portion of the city and killing over 140 people.
Welcome to our new website! Several months ago, we were told that it was time to update our site — our site was technologically behind the times. It’s taken awhile to rebuild everything. There’s still work to be done, but it’s time to put it online. This front blogging page will serve as a place for you to see what’s going on at Meade Public Library. We’ll do our best to keep it up-to-date so you can see right away what is happening at the library.
The Bulletin Board link will serve as a place for the following items and events: Story Time, Collections on Display, Used-Book Sale and Book Mobile.
Please take an opportunity to look around our new site. We want this to be the place to go for library information and hope it can be a scrapbook (with lots of pictures) of what has happened at the library. Please let us know if there’s anything you’d like to see added to the site, and feel free to leave comments.
