Labor Day Closing

We will be closed on Saturday (September 3) and Monday (September 5) for the Labor Day Holiday Weekend.

Early Closing on Friday

We will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 8, so the staff can get everything ready for the evening program.  See the “Dan, Dan the Magic Man” post immediately following this to find out more details about the program.

Notice of Closing

The library will close today (June 29) at noon. As you may know, we currently have no air conditioning.  It is expected to be very hot today, and we’ve also had some power issues this morning — so we thought this would be best.

The Scavenger Hunt turn-in deadline has been extended to 5 p.m. tomorrow (June 30) because of the closing.

We also want to let you know that we will be closed on Saturday-July 2 and Monday-July 4 for Independence Day.

Coming Up This Week

This week, we are focusing on Europe.  Laurie Reimer will lead Family Story Time on Monday morning.  Wednesday, features Will Friesen’s Awesome Chemistry Concoctions.  This will be a program full of color and surprise.  Thursday’s Lunch & Learn will be a film about the Navajo Code Talkers during World War II, and we will sample Navajo Fry Bread.

Click on the Summer Reading Link above to find out the exact time of each program.

We hope it won’t be long until our air conditioner is fixed, so please bear with us as we attempt to beat the heat!!!
