Story Time – TALK

new dog clipart image: cute puppy or doggie with boneThis Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. will be Story Time.  Laressa Nordgren will be the Story Time leader, and her theme will be “Dogs.”   We should have lots of fun with the stories and activities.

File:LHbookCover.jpgOn Saturday, we will be hosting our second TALK session of the Great Plains Spirit series.  Dr. Rachel Goossen, Associate Professor of History at Washburn University, will lead the discussion on Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder.  The discussion begins at 2:00 p.m.  Books are available at the library. 

The TALK program is sponsored by the Meade Friends of the Library and the Kansas Humanities Council.

TALK – Touching the Fire

Welsch: Book CoverOur first TALK  will be tomorrow (September 10) at 2:00 p.m. in the Meade Library Community Room.  Dr. Sara Jane Richter from Oklahoma Panhandle University will be leading the discussion on the book Touching the Fire:  Buffalo Dancers, the Sky Bundle, and Other Tales by Roger Welsch.

Story Time

Story Time is this Wednesday (September 7) at 10:00 a.m.  Rhonda Donahue will be our guest story teller.  Make sure to bring your paint shirts.  We’re looking forward to having a good time!
